Organic at Heart
My name is Jelise Schmitt and my whole life is focused on being organic. I am a mom of 4 energetic & enthusiastic kids. My husband and I run an organic grain farm by Carrot River, SK.
Our whole lifestyle is focused around the organic industry, whether it be raising our own pork and beef to feed our family, gathering eggs from our chickens, or milking the family cow and enjoying her wholesome gifts.
Organic Groceries
I took over the Organic Grocery business as a hobby about 10 years ago from my mother in law. The purpose was to provide organic food to my family as well as allowing other families the same opportunity. Since then there has been so much interest and growth in my hobby that I have decided to transition it into a business. My goal is still the same, only bigger. I whole heartedly believe that I can be Northeast Saskatchewan's online Organic Grocery outlet.
Organic Lifestyle
At our farm we believe that the family that works together has fun together. Our children are raised to work along side us in the fields; doing chores; picking and hauling bales; cleaning out pens; butchering & all of the perks that come with farm living.
We believe that if you feed and nurture the land and animals organically, the results with be a flavourful plate of food at the table; an abundant golden harvest and most of all appreciation.
